What is keyword density?
Keyword density is how often a word or phrase appears in your text as a percentage of the total word count. If a keyword appears 10 times in a 500-word article, its density is 2%. For natural, search-friendly content, a density of roughly 1–2% per target keyword is typical; much higher can look like keyword stuffing.
Write naturally, rank better
Search engines reward content that reads naturally and penalize obvious keyword stuffing. This checker shows your most frequent terms so you can confirm your target keywords appear enough — but not too much. It analyzes single words and ignores common stop-words.
